He plays a crucial role in the development of new business strategies and overall business operations. He brings with him operational experience from 6 different brands within Marriott, IHG, Hyatt & Hilton.
Hitesh HP Patel, Vice President of Business Development
Hitesh (HP) Patel is an Austin, Texas-based hotelier and community leader with a strong entrepreneurial background. HP is the president of Capital City Hospitality Group and the creator of Global Green Consultants, which offers “green” consulting services primarily to hotels. He holds several leadership positions within the hotel industry, including a place on both the Austin Hotel & Lodging Association and the Leuva Patidar Samaj (LPS) Board of Directors; an appointment to the Austin Economic Growth and Redevelopment Task Force; and an IHG Owners Association Ambassadorship.
A member of AAHOA since 2004, HP began his service on the AAHOA Board of Directors in 2010, when he was elected Director at Large. He subsequently won the AAHOA Award of Excellence for his work in supporting AAHOA’s educational initiatives. He currently serves as a Vice-Chairman for AAHOA
Connie Lynn Vasquez, Sr. Interior Designer / Project Manager
Connie is a graduate from the Art Institute of Houston & Austin. She started her career at English Architecture in Houston, Texas working as an on-site facility designer for Lyondell-Citgo. After relocating to Austin in 2001 she became a member of a creative team at KDS Architecture (Kampfe / de Stijl ). She honed her skills to create innovative solutions, identifying client goals and personalities to provide unique design opportunities and solutions. Connie has unique expertise in problem solving, cost effectiveness by bringing projects in
on budget and on time. Her high integrity and unique skill set coupled with her tenacious work ethic and superb organizational skills make her an invaluable part of a design team. Connie possesses a winning combination of solid technical skills in addition to a good business sense. Her hands-on approach to design, willingness to help and suggest new ideas won her the respect of her colleges. Connie is active in the design community and is taking her NCIDQ exam in 2019 to be a Registered Interior designer. She has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on a very wide range of project types. At various times during her career, she has focused on Healthcare, Residential, Commercial Interiors, Retail and Hospitality.
Marcia Airen Andre / Design Assistant / Purchasing Agent
Marcia is a graduate of The Art Institute where she cultivated and developed her skills in creative concept development and research for programming purposes. Her degree from South Plains College provided a foundation of technical computer aided drafting, hand drafting, and animation skills that prepared her to further her degree in Interior Design. Through her experience in visual merchandising, she has developed a passion for bringing styles and concepts to life. Marcia has a balanced approach to design by merging technology with creativity and elements of nature to provide healthy environments, and she believes that design is personal in the way the space reflects the user and the user is affected by their surroundings.
Nirmal Khanderia, Corporate Controller
Nirmal brings with him 37 years of business experience in various industries in multiple countries. With his passion for process improvement and a keen eye on the bottom line, Nirmal oversees not only the accounting/finances of a project, but also sets systems in place to lay a solid foundation for your business, yet also efficiently manage the hotel operations for peak performance.
Ejaz Ahmed, General Manager – Kitchen/ Laundry Design Consulting
Ejaz is the General Manager of our partner affiliates CKC Design Consultant & MTC Trading, a leading kitchen and laundry design and supply consultants. Ejaz’s over 20 years of experience in commercial kitchen field has lead to procurement of large projects in the hospitality, healthcare and airline sectors.
Ejaz’s recent achievements for the company include Millennium Biltmore, Abu Dhabi, Saudi-German Hospital, Ajman, Radisson Blu, Khobar, KSA, King Fahd Medical City, Riyadh, KSA and the Radisson Park Inn, Najran, KSA.
